Zhang Yunsheng, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, Changjiang Distinguished Professor. He has long been engaged in research and application across four domains: solid waste resource utilization, novel low-carbon and negative-carbon building materials, durability of structural concrete, and digital-intelligent construction. He serves as Vice President of the China Chapter of the International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials, Systems and Structures (RILEM), Vice President of the Jiangsu Silicate Society, Standing Committee Member of the Solid Waste Branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society, Director of the Provincial Technical Center for Manufactured Aggregate Industry, Head of the Green Mine Industry Research Institute, and Vice Chairman, Council Member, or Committee Member of more than ten national-level specialized committees. He has led over more than 30 national and provincial/ministerial research projects, including key projects funded by the Regional Joint Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), sub-projects of the National Key Research and Development Program, and NSFC General Program projects. He has published more than 300 SCI-indexed papers, authored or co-authored 5 monographs and textbooks, participated in the compilation of more than 20 standards, and holds more than 50 invention patents. He has received one First Prize and three Second Prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, as well as three First Prizes at the provincial/ministerial or industry level. His research outcomes have been applied to dozens of significant engineering projects spanning buildings, bridges, roads, building energy efficiency, subgrade improvement, and the restoration of historic structures. uResearch Interests 1.Solid waste resource utilization 2.
