Personal Profile

Ming Jin is a Young Chair   Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Materials Science and   Engineering, Southeast University. He is a National Young Talent. He has   published more than 60 academic papers and has been granted more than 10   invention patents. His research achievements have received several scientific   and technological awards, including the First Prize of Hubei Provincial   Science and Technology Progress Award and the First Prize of Science and   Technology Progress Award of the China Building Materials Federation. His   research outcomes have been applied in several national major engineering   projects, including hydraulic dams and navigation hubs. He recruits 2-3   doctoral students and several master’s students each year. Students will be   jointly supervised within the research group led by Academician Jiaping Liu.   Outstanding students with backgrounds in materials, chemistry, computer   science, artificial intelligence, mechanical engineering, civil engineering,   and related fields are welcome to apply.

3.Nondestructive   monitoring, intelligent sensing, and safety early-warning technologies for   in-service structures.
