Announcement of the 5th RILEM International Conference on Concrete and Digital Fabrication and the 6th International Conference on 3D Printing Concrete Materials and Structures

The 5th RILEM International Conference on Concrete and Digital Fabrication (DC2026) and the 6th International Conference on 3D Printing Concrete Materials and Structures (3DPCMS-2026) will be jointly held in Nanjing, China, from October 18 to 21, 2026.

The DC conference is the most influential international conference in the concrete and digital fabrication sector. Initiated by RILEM in 2018, this conference series aims to bring together experts and scholars from academia and industry to discuss the latest advances in digital fabrication technologies for the construction sector, and to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among global experts. The DC conference was first hosted by ETH Zurich in 2018, and has been held every two years since then at internationally renowned universities including Eindhoven University of Technology, Loughborough University, and the Technical University of Munich. The right to host the DC conference is decided by a vote of the conference initiation committee. Professor Yamei Zhang of Southeast University won the right to host the 2026 edition through a competitive process at the 4th DC Conference in 2024. This marks the first time that the DC conference is held outside Europe.

The 3DPCMS conference series was jointly initiated by Southeast University and the China Concrete & Cement-based Products Association (CCPA) in 2021, with the aim of promoting cooperation and exchange in the fields of 3D printing concrete materials, structures, processes, and engineering applications. The conference is held annually, and this year is the sixth edition. The previous five editions were hosted by Southeast University, Tongji University, Lanzhou University of Technology, Zhejiang University, and CCCC First Highway Consultants Co., Ltd., respectively.

This joint international conference is hosted by Southeast University and RILEM, and co-organized by the State Key Laboratory of Major Infrastructure Engineering Materials, the China Concrete & Cement-based Products Association (CCPA), and Sobute New Materials Co., Ltd. Conference preparations are progressing in an orderly manner.
